Spell Card Pattern Description
Alice throws a large bubble-like blue bullet to a random spot below her, which will quickly explode into multiple blond dolls with blue dresses that fly in random directions. Each of them will then shoot straight lines of blue bullets in random directions, create a burst of red bullets that fall down, and shoot a red laser downwards in a direction close to one of their lines of blue bullets. The dolls can be damaged and destroyed to stop them from shooting, as early as the red bullets. They can't be destroyed before they shoot the blue bullets.

Spell Card Pattern Description
Four intangible blond dolls with blue dresses will spin around Alice starting from a random position, and then shoot a single blue arrowhead bullet. This bullet will then multiply into white arrowhead bullets that go back towards Alice, and these in turn, will multiply into red arrowhead bullets that form one of 3 static patterns in a cycle, and continue to spin. Alice will then move and return, which will not affect the position of the dolls when they shoot the first wave of blue bullets. When the 3 patterns have fully cycled, the dolls will once again shuffle their position and start the cycle again.

Very similar to previous versions. Alice will be surrounded by eight dolls instead, but the wave of red arrowheads is spun and multiplied even further into green arrowhead bullets.

A line of red-haired dolls with yellow dresses that spawn at random heights slowly forms near the top of the screen. Each will shoot random clumps rice shaped bullets (cyan in odd-numbered waves, purple in even waves) in a cross formation. They can be destroyed to stop them from shooting.

Very similar to its Easy version, with the dolls shooting seven clumps of bullets in a circle around themselves.

Spell Card Pattern Description
Similar to the previous spells, with the dolls replaced by light-blond dolls with blue dresses that shoot six clumps of rice shaped bullets (blue on odd waves, red on even waves). They will now add a vertical line of dolls to their formation, close to the right side of the screen in odd-numbered waves, and close to the left side on even ones.

Spell Card Pattern Description
Four blond dolls in blue dresses circle around alice from a random starting point and shoot a trail rice shaped bullets of multiple colors, as they change direction and distance from Alice, and Alice herself moves around. The dolls' movement appears to be static, and the color of the waves go green, blue, yellow, and cyan, then the colors cycle as the dolls continue their movement in various different patterns.

Three blond dolls with blue dresses circle around Alice. Each of these leaves a trail of yellow arrowhead bullets around them, then a half circle of orange arrowhead bullets towards alice, that change direction 3 and times, spinning around Alice before going back to the player. Alice also shoots six large purple bubble-like bullets that spin around herself once, and rings of blue arrowheads that alternate between 2 layers and 4 layers each wave.

Very similar to "Magically Luminous Shanghai Dolls"'s Hard version, with the patterns the dolls shoot now having two layers that form circles that are aimed at the player.

  1. ↑ 1.0 1.1 "Bunraku" a type of traditional Japanese puppet theater. "Maiden's Bunraku" is a style of performance where a Bunraku puppet, normally controlled by up to three people, is controlled by only one girl.
  2. ↑ 2.0 2.1 2.2 博愛 (hakuai) more accurately means "benevolence/philanthropy", but has also been used in Japanese as a translation of the word "fraternité" in France's national motto ("Liberté, egalité, fraternité") since Japan's first exposure to the French language in the 19th century. This usage of 博愛 is an inaccurate translation that's largely been corrected in the years since, but it still sees some use today.
  3. ↑ Orléans is a city in France.
  4. ↑ 4.0 4.1 Red Hair (紅毛 Kōmō) is a Chinese and Japanese term used during the Edo period when referring to the Dutch.
  5. ↑ 5.0 5.1 Hakua (白亜) is the specific word for "white" used in Japanese for Russia's White Monuments of Vladimir and Suzdal.

  8. ↑ 8.0 8.1 8.2 8.3 咒詛 (curse, malediction, etc.) is written here in Chinese; the Japanese equivalent is 呪詛. Shanghai is a city in China.
  9. ↑ Hourai is a legendary island paradise in folklore, which was said to be inhabited by immortals who had special powers, and possessed rare treasures as well as the elixir of immortality.
