Royalflare.net (previously Touhou-Storm.com) is a Japanese website serving both as the official Touhou scoreboard, and a replay uploader for all Touhou games starting from Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. Vast majority of the scores on Touhou Wiki's High scores page have been submitted to Royalflare at some point in time.
Although temporary scoreboards are usually opened soon after new games' web trial version release, the official opening only occurs after vendors have a chance to ship the games to the customers (in other words, a couple days after the official release date in software shops).
TH09.5 東方文花帖 ～ Shoot the Bullet (only separate scenarios)
TH 12.5 ダブルスポイラー ～ 東方文花帖 (Double Spoiler)
TH 12.8 妖精大戦争 ～ 東方三月精 (Fairy Wars)
Each scoreboard except Uwabami Breakers's can be sorted in several ways, from overall scores to separation by both character and difficulty mode.
This uploader is used for temporary non-scoreboard replays. It contains 500 most recent uploads at a time, the older ones are automatically purged as new ones are being added.
Top-3 scores under every category (depending on sorting method) are marked with symbols to help identifying them:
- ☆ — 1st place;
- ◇ — 2nd place;
- △ — 3rd place.
(Note: these symbols are also used on the High scores page, but their meaning there is different.)
When sorted by score, mode, and character, another notation appears next to each entry, with numbers ranging from ~20.0 to ~85.0. It represents the standard deviation in the category.
Royalflare tracks the amount of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place scores for each player for any given game, which are then reflected in the ratings. Many of the top-rated players are featured in Touhou Wiki's notable player article index.
In summer of 2010, Royalflare has started tracking record progression history for every category in every game except Imperishable Night, akin to the file histories on Touhou wiki's High scores page. Most of the former (obsolete) first-place entries have thus become available to general public. However, as of October, 2010, not every entry is reflected and not all of them are downloadable.
