タイトル画面のテーマです。 いつもこういう感じですね。 今回は雨の匂いを表現して、音楽に入れようとしてみました。 豪雨が晴れた後の世界は爽やかですね……少なくとも湿っぽくない時は。		This is the title theme. It's always like this, isn't it? This time I tried to capture the smell of rain and put into music. The world is refreshing after heavy showers, but only when it isn't humid.

１面のテーマです。 あーめあーめふーれふーれ。でも別に寂しい感じの雨じゃない。 幻想郷では少しでも頭の良い妖精なんて珍しいよね？ それでもいつもの妖精と大した差がない。		The Stage 1 theme. It's raaaaining. But it's not really a bleak kind of rain. It's weird to see fairies in Gensokyo with any half-decent intelligence. But it doesn't make a difference.

Stage 1 Boss - Azure Swirl's theme	白波から上がるフェー達 Shiranami kara agaru fē-tachi	Fae Rising from Seafoam	♪ Frogmask
アジュアスワールのテーマです。 「Faerie」は「Fairy」より上品な響きがあるから、 曲名に入れるとカッコよくない？　……え、やっぱりよくない？ ちなみに本人が敬語を強調しているのもわざとです。(笑)		Azure Swirl's theme. Faerie sounds a lot classier than fairy, so doesn't it sound cool when you throw it into a song name? What? No? Her formal speech is on purpose, by the way. (lol)

Stage 2 theme	蒼き天涯を染み通る Aoki tengai o shimi-tōru	Seeping Through the Blue Canopy	♪ Frogmask
２面のテーマです。 雨がまだ降り続けている。 雨期になると家に引きこもりがちになりますよね？ それもただの人間の本質でしょう。 私は子供の頃、台風のせいで丸一週間家で過ごしたことがありますが…… 実は海外にいた頃ですが、それでもつまらなかった。		The Stage 2 theme. It's still raining. When it's the rainy season somewhere, you tend to stay inside a lot more. That's just human nature. Once when I was a kid, I had to spend a whole week indoors because of a typhoon... It was overseas, actually, but it still kinda sucked.

八百　目実（やもも　さっかぐみ）のテーマです。 いやー、読み上げると長い名前ですね。 その割に本人はあまり喋りません。 入道は大体そんなものです。 物静かなタイプ。 ……まあ、大体は。		Sakkagumi Yamomo's theme. Wow, gee, her name is a mouthful. But she doesn't speak much. Nyuudou are quite like that. The quiet type, I mean. ...Usually.

Stage 3 theme	巫女の尻尾を追うマーメイド Miko no shippo o ou māmeido	A Mermaid Chasing a Shrine Maiden's Tail	♪ Frogmask
３面のテーマです。 今度は海に来ました。 いや、某ゲームじゃありませんよ…… 海は深度次第でおぞましく暗い場所、 あるいはかなり美しい場所だったりします。 リアルの海の話ですが、穹蒼洋もそうです。		The Stage 3 theme. Now you're in an ocean. No, it's not that game or something... The ocean is either horrifically murky or quite beautiful, depending on which level you're at. I'm talking about the real ocean, but it applies to the Expanse, too.

Stage 3 Boss - Saga Kuramu's theme	雲に座っているキルケ― Kumo ni suwatteiru Kirukē	Circe Sitting in the Clouds	♪ Frogmask
眩　さが（くらむ　さが）のテーマです。 昔はイヤな女だった～♪ 魔女と呼ばれて当然～♪ でもこの頃は　こういうネタも～　かなり古くなった♪ 彼女って、実はなんかかっこいいキャラじゃない？		Saga Kuramu's theme. She must admit that in the past she's been a nasty. They weren't kidding when they called her, well, a witch. But you'll find that nowadays, such references are dated. She's actually kind of a cool character, isn't she?

Stage 4 theme	中ノ鳥島ノ怠惰ナ砂 Nakanotorishima no taida na suna	Lazy Sands of Nakanotorishima	♪ Spectral Nexus
４面のテーマです。 のんびりした世界の為ののんびりした曲。 いつもの流れに乗って作曲していたので、割と単純な曲です。 あのハモン達って可愛すぎないですか？！ ふわふわしてて 座り心地がすごく良さそう～。 けど座ったままに弾幕を 撃ったり避けたりするのが難しいでしょうね……		The Stage 4 theme. A lazy song for a lazy realm. Sticking to the status quo, I simply cruised my way along with this theme, so it's pretty simple. But hey, sometimes less is more, and when it's not, you're probably overthinking it anyway. Aren't those Hammon just the cutest!? So fluffy... I bet they're amazingly comfy to sit on, though firing and dodging danmaku on them would be a very different story...

Stage 4 Boss - Umehime Kazarashi's theme	綿津見の和太鼓デリュージ Watatsumi no wadaiko deryūji	Watatsumi's Wadaiko Deluge	♪ Spectral Nexus
風嵐　梅姫（かざらし　うめひめ）のテーマです。 意地悪な公主様にぴったりな、暴風のような能楽囃子。 貴族の割にマナーの悪いキャラですよね？ 特に毒口なところとか。 でも、優れてるところもちゃんと認めるよ。 風と騒動を起こす腕前が素晴らしい！		Umehime Kazarashi's theme. A tempestuous nohgaku performance, fit for a sovereign with a mean streak. Definitely not the best behaved noble, huh? What a boorish mouth. Still, I've got to give credit where it's due. She can kick up one hell of a storm!

Stage 5 theme	恐怖の鎖への抗戦は空振り Kyōfu no kusari e no kōsen wa karaburi	Futile Is the Fight Against the Fetters of Fear	♪ Spectral Nexus
５面のテーマです。 向こう側の深淵に囚われている者の為の哀歌。 一方は悪魔めいた不吉さ、もう一方は不思議な魅力。 まるで城自体が貴方を奥まで誘っているような感じ。 ……さあ、なぜ躊躇しているのでしょうか？ パンドラの箱を開けた今、引き返せるわけにはいきませんよ。		The Stage 5 theme. An elegy for those captured by the chasm beyond. Devilishly ominous, yet perplexingly enticing, it's as if the castle itself is luring you into its depths. ...Well? Why do you hesitate? You can't turn back now that you've opened Pandora's box.

Stage 5 Boss - Padma Raksasa's theme	プリマドンナの焼け翼　～ Walpurgis Nightmare Purimadona no yake-tsubasa	The Primadonna's Burnt Wings ~ Walpurgis Nightmare	♪ Spectral Nexus
パドマ・ラクササのテーマです。 朦朧とした灯篭と慟哭の童謡が鳴る、蟲道と魑魅魍魎の凶騒ロンド。 ……って、かなり言いづらいよね？ こちらにとっても意味不明です (笑) とにかくできることを全部詰め込んだので、とても凄まじい曲になりました。 でも本人はそういうキャラだからね。何が来るか全然分からないって感じ。		Padma Raksasa's theme. An amorphous amalgamated allegretto of animated anathema. ...Did I overdo it this time? I myself barely know what it means, haha! Anyway, I really packed everything I could into this one, so it ended up pretty intense. Padma's like that though. You really never know what to expect with her.

Stage 6 theme	カリスト・マトリックス Karisuto matorikkusu	Callisto Matrix	♪ Frogmask
６面のテーマです。 いよいよ終盤だ！！ (……まあ、ここまではおおよそ20分くらいしかかからないし、 そこまでドラマチックでもないでしょうけど。) とても宇宙っぽい音を目指しました。ついでに宇宙っぽい曲名も。 カリスト…天にあげられた母熊、おおぐま座のこと。 マトリックス…胎蔵曼荼羅(いわばMatrix Mandala)のこと。 他に木星の衛星や某映画もありますが……(笑)		The Stage 6 theme. This is it! ...Well, it's only been 20 or so minutes, so I guess it's not too dramatic. I hoped for a very space like sound. And a space-like name, too. Callisto, like the mother bear, Ursa Major set into the sky. And Matrix like the Matrix Mandala. Then again, there's the moon of Jupiter, and then that one movie... (lol)

水混　祐毋（つまざる　うんむ）のテーマです。 Ah! Hello, starlight! You certainly gave everyone a scare. すべての破片はここでパズルのピースのように当てはまる……。 ……私はね、ラスボスの曲を作ることが大好きです。 貴方にとっても、この曲を聴くことが大好きであることを望みます。		Ummu Tzumazaru's theme. Ah! Hello, starlight! You certainly gave everyone a scare. All the pieces come together here, like a puzzle... ...Well, you see, I really love writing final boss themes. I hope you really love listening to this.

Stage 6 Boss - Ummu Tzumazaru's Revival theme	アンテディルビアンマザーシップ Antedirubian mazāshippu	Antediluvian Mothership	♪ Frogmask
ウンム・フブルのテーマです。 Good morning, mom! あ、いや……そっちの某ゲームじゃないよね？ うーん、じゃあ。 貴方ってもしかしてデビルサマナー？ え、ええ？ あっちのゲームでもない？？		Ummu-Hubur's theme. Good morning, mom! Uh-- It isn't that game, is it? Ooooh, well. Are you a devil summoner, by the way? H-huh? It isn't that game either?

Extra Stage theme	おぼれる者の心象風景　～ Sinking Star Oboreru mono no shinshō fūkei	A Drowning Man's Dreamscape ~ Sinking Star	♪ Naudiz
エキストラステージのテーマです。 死ぬ直前に現実があやふやになって夢のような世界になる、という考えが 個人的に好き。そして、フッ……と消えて逝くという。 それがこの曲のコンセプトだ。気楽なオアシスのイメージを 思い浮かばせる一方、少しずつ近づいていく窒息感も与える。 ……それはさておき、またビーチに行きたいなぁ。行ったところで砂から 動こうとしないけどさ。最初から水に入らなきゃ溺れるわけないからね？		The Extra Stage theme. I like to think that right before you die, you lose your grip on reality and the world becomes like that of a dream. Then... poof. You're gone. That's the idea behind this song; on one hand it evokes images of a blissful oasis, while on the other it instills a sense of impending suffocation. ...Anyway, I miss going to the beach. Even if all I do is stay on the sand whenever I go. Can't drown if you never get wet, after all.

Extra Stage Boss - Nusakoro Pandora's theme	アーケインアウグル Ākein auguru	Arcane Augur	♪ KUROHA (Composition), Frogmask (Arrangement)
絆鑼　幣頃（ぱんどら　ぬさころ）のテーマです。 いや待って、幻想郷を煩わせいる塩水の海に潜む母神…… なんか怪しくない？(笑) それはさておき、これが幣頃さんのテーマ曲です。 物事に名前を付けて、定義できる力。 それが彼女の神秘的(アーケイン)なところでしょう。		Nusakoro Pandora's theme. Wait, a mother goddess in a saltwater sea that's troubling Gensokyo... Isn't that kind of suspicious? (ha) Anyways, here's Nusakoro's theme. The power invested in naming something, in defining it. That's what's so arcane about her, I'd say.

Carrefour Stage theme	世界の中心でアイを叫んだ神様 Sekai no chūshin de ai o sakenda kamisama	A God That Shouted 'Love' At the Heart of the World	♪ Frogmask
カルフールステージのテーマです。 さあさあ、お祭りの時間だよ～！ お酒にダンスに照明に…… って、東方風にしてはかなり異質な曲かもしれないね、これ。 終盤の道中曲の割には元気いっぱいというか。 まあ、お祭りだからね？ その雰囲気に合わせなきゃ。 ……ねえ、モッシュピットとかがあると思う？		The Carrefour Stage theme. Hey, hey, it's a party~! Drinking, raving, and lights, and... Huh, I guess this kinda style is a little out of the ordinary for Touhou. It's something pretty peppy for, y'know, a late stage theme. It's a festival after all. Better fit the mood. Think there's a mosh pit?

Carrefour Stage Boss - Yachimata no Akiwaza's theme	彼女の千歳飴 Kanojo no chitose-ame	Her Millennium Candy	♪ Frogmask
八衢　明伎（やちまた　の　あきわざ）のテーマです。 GPSのような神様、とか何か。 あ、あの信号機の曲も入ってるじゃん！ 曲名の由来は、「千歳飴 → 七五三 → 通りゃんせ」……みたいな。 “通りゃんせ、通りゃんせ……” “ここはどこの避け道じゃ？” (笑)		Yachimata no Akiwaza's theme. A GPS-like god, or something like that. She even has that stop-light song, woah! The name sort of goes; "Chitose Ame → Shichi-Go-San → Toryanse." 'You may go in, you may enter... Which way is this narrow pathway?' (ha)

Bad Ending theme	天水オーバーフロー Tensui ōbāfurō	Rainwater Overflow	♪ Frogmask
バッドエンドのテーマです。 え、ええ～？ もうバッドエンド用の曲まで作る時代じゃないって？ まあバッドエンド自体はまだ時代遅れじゃないから……。 実はバッドエンドを書いた後からこの曲を作りました。 だってグッドエンドの方は寂しさが足りなかったよ！ (各バッドエンドでも希望がわずかに残ってますが……)		The bad ending theme. W-what? It's not normal to have these anymore? Well, it's still normal to have bad endings, so... The truth is that I wrote this song after writing the bad endings. The good ending song wasn't bleak enough! (Even though there's a glimmer of hope in each of the bad endings anyway...)

Good Ending theme	静寂なる天命 Seijaku-naru tenmei	Quiet Destiny	♪ Frogmask
グッドエンドのテーマです。 今度はただの穏やかな曲だよ！ いや、本当だって！ (笑) つかの間の休み、みたいな感じを曲に染み込ませようとしました…… 流れ雲の海に身をまかせるような。		The good ending theme. Really, really, it's just something gentle this time! (ha) I meant to imbue this with a transient sort of feeling... Like a sea of clouds washing over you.

Carrefour Ending theme	アヤメの花束 Ayame no hanataba	Bouquet of Irises	♪ Frogmask
後日談エンディングのテーマです。 懐かしいエンディングに相応しい懐かしい曲。 結局のところ、幻想郷は幻想郷のままです。 それゆえに幻想郷はいつも変わり続けている。 息を吸って、息を吐いて……まさに今の貴方のように！ ……はは、まあ、念のために“あの曲”の一部も少しだけ入れてみました。		The post-game ending theme. A nostalgic song meant to compliment nostalgic endings. At the end of the day, Gensokyo is still Gensokyo. And by virtue of that, it's always changing. Breathing in and breathing out, just like your body right now! ...Haha, well, I threw in a bit of *that* tune into this arrange for good measure.

Staff Roll theme	太陽ハ天上ノ海ニ沈ム Taiyō wa tenjō no umi ni shizumu	The Sun Sets in the Sea Over the Sky	♪ Spectral Nexus
スタッフロールのテーマです。 打ち寄せる波ほど身を癒す音、沈みゆく太陽ほど目を引く景色は そうそういないと思います。 だからストレス満々な通しプレイの後に 「クリアおめでとう！ もう休んでいいよ～」みたいなシーンを 入れるとしたら、やっぱり日没ごろの浜辺が一番いいでしょうね。 もうーそろそろバカンス行きたいなぁ……		The staff roll theme. There's no sound as relaxing as the crashing waves, no sight as captivating as the setting sun. So it's only natural that a sunset beach is the ideal setting for a "congrats, take a breather!" moment, after such a tense playthrough. I want to go on holiday already...

Carrefour Staff Roll theme	流れ星々のヒストリー Nagare-boshiboshi no hisutorī	A History of Falling Stars	♪ Frogmask
後日談スタッフロールのテーマです。 気をつけないと流れ星にぶつけられるよ？ まあ流れ星以外にもぶつけられるものが沢山あるんですが…… とりあえず、こっちのスタッフロールの為にどこか子供っぽいものを作りました。 大昔の神様に比べると、みんな子供みたいなものなんじゃない？ 別に悪い意味で言っているわけじゃないよ。 時に童心に戻るのもとても良いこと。		The post-game staff roll theme. If you're not careful, a falling star's gonna hit you. I mean, I guess there's a lot of things other than falling stars... Anyways, I wrote something sort of childish for this staff roll. They're all children compared to the gods of old, aren't they? Not that that's a bad thing. Sometimes it's good just being a kid.

Last Word theme	カーテンファイヤーガーラ Kāten faiyā gāra	Curtain Fire Gala	♪ Frogmask
ラストワードのテーマです。 じゃじゃーん！ 実はラストワードもあったよ！ と、永夜抄の「東方妖怪小町」は割と暗いように感じましたので こっちを明るいものにしたかったです。 今度はお祭りで大団円ですからね。 さあ、キャラ達(と私達)のみんなから貴方への最後の言葉(ラストワード)ですよ。		The Last Word theme. Surprise! We had a Last Word mode, all along! Oh, since Eastern Youkai Beauty from IN is so melancholy, I wanted something cheery... It's a festival this time, after all. One final word from all of them (and us) to you.

Score theme	スコアの休らむ所 Sukoa no yasuramu tokoro	Score's Resting Place	♪ Frogmask
ゲームオーバーのテーマです。 君のスコアをここに眠らせたまえ。 同時に不気味さも安心感もある曲です。 ……本当に曲が多いよね？ このゲーム。 これらの曲が、貴方の穹蒼洋へのダイビングに似合うことを望みます。		The game over theme. Lay your score to rest. This song is both haunting and relieving. ...There's really an awful lot of songs in this game, isn't there? I hope they suit your dive into the Expanse well.

(Bonus) Jami Wang's theme	Pocket Monster	Pocket Monster	♪ Spectral Nexus
		The first of the bonus themes. This was actually the very first theme I made for SP, back when the game was still just a forum post. I had thought the team were still looking for a composer, and made this theme for Jami (the original first stage boss) in one quick sitting, as a proof of concept. Turns out — Jami's position as a boss had already been usurped by Azure, and my position as a lead composer had already been usurped by Frogmask! (Just kidding, haha!) In any case, it's really nice to see this theme released along with the finished game after all of these years. Quite a sentimental "full-circle" moment for me. <3

(Bonus) Jiriri Kim's theme	大空を汚すへージーオーメン Oozora o yogosu hējī ōmen	A Hazy Omen, Staining the Open Sky	♪ Spectral Nexus
		The second of the bonus themes. Of the three bonus themes, this was the only one I made with the intention of being a bonus theme, and so I felt comfortable to take a more experimental approach with the structure, this time around. It has an incredibly dark and heavy front, but if you listen more closely, you might actually be able to find an air of cuteness behind the melodies. In short, it's a very tsundere-sounding theme, haha. ........Wait, so does this mean the ever-prophesied "Jiriri Phantasm" was real all along~?

(Bonus) Iroha Tsubasa's theme	幻想激炎　〜 Set the Sea Ablaze!! Gensō gekien	Phantasmal Furious Flame ~ Set the Sea Ablaze!!	♪ Spectral Nexus
		The third of the bonus themes. Before any of you start thinking "woah, this is a little heavy for Iroha!", I promise there's a good reason. You see, this theme wasn't originally made for Iroha Tsubasa... but rather Irohahime Kazarashi. That's right — Umehime used to have a twin sister: A hotheaded younger twin with a fiery spirit and phantasmal fire dragons to match! However, some internal discourse during development unfortunately led to her being scrapped. Rest in peace... On that note — I wonder, why *do* the Hammon enjoy the smell of fire...?
