女苑は、一緒にいると散財させられて貧乏になるタイプの神様。紫苑は、一緒にいるとお金が手に入らなくなるタイプの神様です。現実にもこういう人はいそうですが、まあ、一緒にいたくはないタイプですね（笑）。	Joon is the type of god who, when you're with her, will make you poor thanks to extravagant spending. Shion is the type of god who, when you're with her, will make you unable to obtain money at all. These kinds of people actually exist in our reality, but I'd rather not be with them at all. (haha)
女苑はブランド物（風）をこれ見よがしに身に付け、派手で一見お金に困って無さそうですが、全て他人から巻き上げたお金か、借金して手に入れた物です。見た目だけのお金持ちほど危ない人物はありません。羽振りの良さに騙されてはいけませんよ。それはお金を吸い出すためだけのポーズなのかも知れないですから（笑）。	Joon wears brand-name (style) items, and she looks like she never has any trouble with money at first glance, but all of that money was either ripped off from other people or obtained through loans. No-one is more dangerous than someone who merely looks rich. Don't be fooled by the merit of her influence, because it may just be a pose to suck your wallet dry. (haha)
紫苑は判りやすい絵に描いたような貧乏神です。ボロボロの服に身を包み、辛気くさい表情で覇気もなく、近くにいると運気が下がりそうです。ただ、お金は貯まらないですけど、悪意を持って不幸にさせようということは無いので、一緒にいるならどちらかというと彼女の方が良いと思います。ただ、お金は貯まらないですけど。	Shion paints a very clear image of a poverty god. She's dressed in tattered clothing, has a depressed facial expression, and has no ambition. Though even if she doesn't retain money, she has no intent on making you unhappy on purpose, so I think you'd be better off with her. However, you won't be able to retain money, either.

自分的にこの２人を描くのはとても楽しいです。色の対比もそうだけど双子なのに性格が全然違うから描いていて楽しくなりますし、エフェクトや小物も派手になるから本当に楽しいです。今まで描いた「外來韋編」関連のイラストの中で一番楽しく描いたと二人だと思います。	It was a lot of fun for me to draw these two. I feel the same about contrasting colors in general, but because these two are twins with differing personalities, and the effects and accessories are all really flashy, this was especially fun! I think this was the most fun I've ever had drawing a duo for Strange Creators of Outer World.
一枚の中で対比する感じが出るとすごく楽しくなります。	It's so delightful having this much contrast on one page!

Personality 「憑依華」のラスボスとして登場したのが、紫苑と女苑の双子姉妹。幻想郷を覆った「都市伝説異変」の一つ「完全憑依」を利用して人々から財貨を巻き上げようとした。　妹で疫病神の女苑が憑りついて対象から金品を浪費させ、戦いを挑んできた相手には姉で貧乏神の紫苑が完全憑依して勝運をなくし、強制敗北させるという防御策のおかげで並み居る人妖を返り討ちにしたが、憑依の罠を見抜いた紫と霊夢のコンビによって懲らしめられた。	Personality Shion and Joon, twin sisters that debuted as the final bosses of Antinomy of Common Flowers. Using "Perfect Possession", which was part of the Urban Legend Incident that capsized Gensokyo, they tried to rob people of their wealth. The younger sister, Joon the pestilence god, causes any subject she possesses to squander their money and possessions, while her partner, Shion the poverty god, uses the Perfect Possession technique to drain all the luck of any opponent that declared battle. Thanks to their defensive "forced-defeat" measures, they were able to beat many humans and youkai by turning the tables against them. But ultimately, they were disciplined by the combination of Reimu and Yukari, who saw through the trap of the possession.
異変後、女苑は命蓮寺で修行したり（飽きて出奔）、紫苑は自身の能力が通じない圧倒的な運を持つ天人・比那名居天子と出会って意気投合したりしている。	After the incident, Joon went to train at the Myouren Temple (though she got bored and ran off), while Shion met with Tenshi Hinanawi, a celestial with overwhelming luck that her abilities had no effect on.
