Genpei War

I have no idea what the Genpei War has to do with miso paste. Does anybody know?

"This war and its aftermath established red and white, the colors of the Taira and Minamoto standards, respectively, as Japan's national colors. Today, these colors can be seen on the flag of Japan, and also in banners and flags in sumo and other traditional activities." - Wikipedia

Oh, I somehow missed that. Silly me. --Nietz 15:21, 16 October 2007 (PDT)

I thought I should also mention that the name the fans gave the youkai girl in Chapter 1, Tokiko, it's written with the same characters of Crested Ibis (朱鷺), and actually means "Ibis Child". That's likely because of her white hair and red wings. Maybe she is indeed an Ibis youkai...

Is there still text needing transcription and/or translation, or is it categorized wrong? --User:Umhyuk 11:11, 6 January 2008 (PST)

Should Crested Ibis be capitalized in this story? Niektory (talk) 19:37, 13 June 2015 (UTC)

I don't think so. It's not a proper noun. -- Mazian (talk) 15:53, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
Aaaaaaand done. (The crested ibis is even starting to make a very modest comeback!) -- Mazian (talk) 16:26, 24 June 2015 (UTC)
