Somehow I get the feeling that Rumia is dumber than Cirno.
- I can agree for you in some point, but it's not a perfect agreement. I think it's certain that Rumia is apt to be lazy and a little careless. It's one reason to make Rumia pretty! --Masuo64 01:39, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
Anyone know where the "removing Rumia's amulet puts her in EX Mode" comes from, aside from the obvious "her profile says she can't touch it and naturally this sparked people's imaginations?" (Luceid 06:25, 3 March 2009 (UTC)Luceid)
Love "東方幼霊夢(Touhou Osana Reimu)" take on Rumia EX.
Rumia's name come from "lumière"?
Maybe just me, but her name sounds similar to the french word "lumière", which means "light". Another pun, perhaps?

- Dunno, but that's a good point. I thought her name comes from a Polish town name, lol (When I was googling Rumia's images I kept getting these Polish town flags XD) Deathsoul4 18:59, October 7, 2010 (UTC)
Sounds likely to me since normally the letter "L" is normally pronounced with an "R" sounds in Japan (i think) which could mean Rumia = Lumia which sounds like Lumiere (this is coming from someone who doesn't really understand the Japanese language) Baptiejames 10:03, 31 March 2011 (UTC)
I know that the character page model includes a relationships section, but there's no canon evidence that Rumia has any friendly or significant relationship with the other characters. Do we really need it?

- That it appears in the model doesn't mean it is required. If it is impossible to write something for a part just leave it out, just like the "name" section. ☢ Quwanti 07:24, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
I was investigating and I found that Rumia's name can come from the Spanish verb rumiar that means chew for second time or eat for second time. Maybe that's her name procedence due she eats humans...? --Camilo113 (talk) 00:41, 7 September 2012 (EDT)
Please look at the bottom right in this page, between Koishi and Kogasa's umbrella. http://bato.to/reader#659345abcffaa7b4_4
