Album column

So I'm trying to modify it so that the album sources are listed in a second cell, and possibly include album covers as well, but it doesn't seem very obvious how to do so --Tsukihime 16:21, 24 March 2011 (UTC)

Could we move the album thumbs to the third column? It's just that some tracks have really long names, and the source line is gonna end up long almost by default, and it's sort of annoying for them to drag into a second line when the third column is just standing there empty. Adding a song written in foreign language

I'm thinking to add a song written in foreign language (i.e. Not Japanese nor English) other then Chinese which already has it's template. What should I do to make this done? --Doncot 04:55, 6 May 2012 (UTC)

You probably need to create a new lyrics template to make your page. What language is this song written in? Ibaraki Ibuki 05:41, 6 May 2012 (UTC)

About line breaks

All those <br /> looks really ugly. However, if we change style for inner blocks so it would be white-space: pre-wrap;, there would be no need for manual like breaks. It's almost like <pre> works, except it doesn't introduce horizontal scroll bar if text doesn't fit. Now if you don't have any objections, I'll take care of it. --WGH 17:36, 27 March 2011 (UTC)

Something to mention is, when you no need for manual breaks, the message will look like this : <p>sentence 1</p><p>sentence 2</p>, and using br will be like this : sentence 1<br />sentence 2 - KyoriAsh 09:16, 6 May 2012 (UTC)

"Featured in" albums

A new LyricAlbum template has been developed for the albums that the song is featured in. We will be using that instead of manually specifying the image formatting. You can still manually specify it, but for maintenance purposes I prefer the template --Tsukihime 16:47, 29 March 2011 (UTC)

Template Implantation

As for now there are 200 Lyrics pages still not changed to the lyrics template. Of course, when it started they number went way down. Though, I a simple plan and goal could be made to do this fast and quickly so within a few days the last 200 are changed too.

Let's say, I would start doing 10 lyrics pages a day, it could be done within 20 days. Other people who wants to participate? ☢ Quwanti 22:15, 27 September 2011 (UTC)

I agree that it's taken forever x__x We can probably get it done really quickly if we work at it (though I like correcting stuff and adding details as I go when I convert them, so I take a little longer). template starts breaking apart

here's what it looks like when I try to use it on the upcoming Korean wiki. All I did was simply copy the lyrics template from this wiki and paste it on the ko wiki on a corresponding template page and translate small bits of the template that are expressed as texts, so I haven't touched anything with the syntax and what not. I only heard from the IRC that the new MW 1.18.1 does not support the loop function, if I'm correct. I also heard that it would affect the lyrics template as well, so I think the reason for my lyrics page breaking up must be because of that. Momiji didn't install that plugin, besides, Momiji said that the plugin consider obsolete in 1.18, so I'm working for alternative template code - KyoriAsh 13:23, 25 March 2012 (UTC)

Suggestion of swapping the English translation and the romaji of the song's name in the template

I feel the original title (in romaji) is always relevant, and the English translation is supplementary (if this was a commercial wiki and we were professionals, it'd be a different story though...). Therefore I suggest to swap the translation and the romaji of the song's name in the template. See the editor corner's talk page for further information.--Doncot (talk) 23:07, 10 August 2012 (EDT)

Lua script

I'm going to switch it to the modified version of Lua script, Module:Lyrics2. It's compatible with current one, so there shouldn't be any problems, but if you have any suggestions for improvements or you noticed that something broke, feel free to use its talk page or this one.

Few issues with the template

As I do not know how that whole module stuff thingy works and no idea where to comment on it exactly, I am just going to write the stuff in the template talk.

Anyway, first of all, I notice that now every album has it's own category. I don't think they should have. It spawns a lot of categories, unneeded. Its not like a user is searching via the category list for lyrics. The Circle name category seems fine, though. Second, this example will gives enough information. Well, the album categories were a bit of an experiment, but guess I'll remove them in a moment.

As for the squeezed text, I'm afraid I'm not sure what do you mean... For me the text looks like it was entered. If it's the width of table then I can make it as wide as page, but assumed that a single column would look better this way.
