Meiling	つまり、地震か何かが起こると言うことです！	Like, an earthquake or something like that!

Meiling	こうなったら私が迎え撃つしかない！ 太歳星君は災禍をもたらす妖怪を 送り込んでくる筈よ！	Now that it's come to this, I have no choice but to ambush it! The Taisui Xingjun will surely send all kinds of disaster-causing youkai!

Meiling	む！ 早速現れたわね！	Whoa! It's appeared already!
Alice	何よ。 私はただ図書館に行きたいだけ	What are you talking about? I just want to go to the library.
Meiling	ふふふ。私には全て判っている。 お前は―― お前は太歳星君が差し向けた妖怪だ！	Heh heh heh. I'm completely aware of what's going on. You are... You are a youkai sent by the Taisui Xingjun!
Alice	あっはっは！ 流石は紅魔館の門番ね！ この仮の姿、一発で見抜くとは！	Ahaha! As expected of the Scarlet Devil Mansion's gatekeeper! This temporary appearance, you saw through it immediately!

Meiling	流石に無言か……。 もう動きそうにないな これだけで終わるとは思えない。 まだまだ迎え撃ってやる！	Of course you'd remain silent. It looks like you can't even move anymore. But, I don't think it'll end with this. I have to keep up the attack!

Stage 3

Marisa	さーて、今日も図書館通いだー。 文学少女だぜー	Now then, today I'll be going to the library againー I'm a young lady of literature.

Marisa	お！？　止めないんだな。 行っちゃうぜ？　行っちゃうよ？	Oh?! For some reason I'm not being stopped. I'm seriously going in? I'm really going in, okay?
Meiling	お前も偽物だ！ 私には全て判っている！	You, too, are a fake! I can see through everything!
Marisa	偽物だと？	A fake?
Meiling	いつもなら堂々と正面玄関から入るお前が、 空からやってくるとは滑稽だ	For you, who always comes through the main gate proudly and boldly, Coming in from the sky is ridiculous!
Marisa	ふふ。 流石だな。流石は紅魔館の防波堤、美鈴だ	Heh heh. Very impressive. As expected of the Great Wall of the Scarlet Devil Mansion, Meiling.
Meiling	そんな変装、誰でも判るわ	Just about anyone could see through that disguise.
Marisa	だが、正体を見抜いたところで 私には勝てまい！	However, simply seeing through to my true form won't be enough to win against me!

Meiling	こんなに凶悪な妖怪。太歳星君 私が居なかったら、 今頃紅魔館を乗っ取られていたわ……	What a fiendishly evil youkai, the Taisui Xingjun. If it wasn't for me, The Scarlet Devil Mansion would've surely been taken over right about now...

Stage 4

Reimu	さーて、今日も妖怪退治よー。 紅魔館の悪魔達をみんな消毒よー	Well then, today's another good day for exterminating some youkai. I'll disinfect all of the devils at the Scarlet Devil Mansionー
Meiling	ふん。来たね！ 災禍の化け物よ	Hmph. So you came! You monster of disasters.
Reimu	化け物だって？	Did you say monster?
Meiling	いくらうまく人間に化けたって無駄よ！ 私の目は騙せない	No matter how skillfully you disguise yourself as a human, it's futile! My eyes wouldn't be deceived.
Reimu	ほほう。 巫女の姿をした私を化け物と言うのかね 面白い事を言うじゃないか。 お前が化け物の癖に	Hoho. When I've taken this form of a shrine maiden, you would call me a monster? Isn't that an amusing thing to say. Even though you're the monster.
Meiling	ふ。確かに私は妖怪だ。 だがな	Hmph. Certainly I am a youkai. However...
Reimu	だが？	However?
Meiling	私は、幻想郷を愛する妖怪なのだ！ お前達みたいな破壊者ではない！	I am a youkai who loves Gensokyo with all her heart! I have nothing to do with creatures of destruction like you!
Reimu	素晴らしい！　素晴らしいわ！ あんたは妖怪の鏡だ だが、きれい事だけで平和が 守られると思うなよ？ 我々がこの幻想郷に災禍を 持ち込んでやる 大地を揺るがす災厄をな！	Splendid! Simply splendid! You're an example of youkai. However, do you think that pretty words alone can protect peace and harmony? We shall bring disaster into Gensokyo! A calamity that will make the Earth itself tremble!

Meiling	少々出来るようだが、私の力には及ばないね！	You are a little strong, but your power is still no match for mine!
Reimu	むむむ。 流石だな？　お前 しかし、お前は過度な連戦で力を 失っていると見える	Mmph. As expected from you, eh? But it appears as if you've spent all your energy in a wanton series of battles.
Meiling	くっ！	Tch!
Reimu	さあ、今こそ真の姿を見せる時が来たようだな！	Now then, the time has come hasn't it, to show you my true form!
Meiling	ついに姿を表すというのだな……！	Finally, it seems to be revealing its true form...!

Final Stage

	「というお話ですか？」 ？？？	Does the story end in that way? ???
	BGM: ぼくらの非想天則	BGM: Our Hisou Tensoku
Meiling	何処だ！ 何処にいるというのか！ 幻想郷を蹂躙する太歳星君の僕。 姿を現すが良い！	Where are you!? Where could you be I said!? You who tramples Gensokyo, Taisui Xingjun's servant. It'd be good if you showed up!
	Giant Catfish ENTERS
Catfish	あっはっは。 ついにわしを復活させてしまったな お前に仕向けた刺客との戦いは 楽しかったかね	Ahahaha. Finally, I've been revived, haven't I? The battles with the assassins I sent to handle you, you enjoyed them didn't you?
Meiling	？	?
Catfish	彼奴らはお前から力を奪う為だけに 仕向けたのじゃよ	I only sent those fools to drain your energy.
Meiling	！？	!?
Catfish	そう、わしを復活させる為の力を。 大地を揺るがす為の力を！	That's right, the energy needed for my revival. For the sake of these powers that will cause the Earth itself to tremble!
Meiling	なんだって！？	What did you say?!
Catfish	気付かないうちにお前はわしの為に 働いて居たのじゃよ どうだ？ 怒りで何も考えられないか？ それとも、 悲しみで言葉を失ったか？	Without you noticing, they all worked hard for my sake. How does it feel? Are you so furious you can't even think? Or perhaps, Have you been struck speechless with grief?
Meiling	ふっふっふ	Heh heh heh.
Catfish	何故笑う	Why are you laughing?
Meiling	私の為にそこまで用意したなんてね	To think that you would go that far for the sake of preparing for me.
Catfish	なんじゃと？	What did you say?!
Meiling	私の伝説を作るために	For the sake of creating my legend.
Catfish	ほう？	Eh?
Meiling	この世界に来てはならないものを 幻想郷一の門番が守るという話の為に！	The one that this world couldn't do without. For the sake of the tale of the sole gatekeeper and protector of Gensokyo!

Catfish	舐めて貰っては困るな 我はあの最凶最悪の妖怪 太歳星君の影の一つじゃ わしこそは伝説の大ナマズ様。 わしが動けば大地は揺れ、地上は崩壊 お前如き、触れる事すら侭ならぬ！	It's strange that you're underestimating me. I am one who manifests the presence of the most unholy and cataclysmic of all youkai, Taisui Xingjun. I am the legendary Supreme Catfish. I need but move and the earth itself will tremble, the lands on the surface will disintegrate. The likes of you cannot even begin to comprehend my power!

^ Translators' Note: Meiling didn't appear in Scarlet Weather Rhapsody

^  This phrase might be derived from a net slang “Dirt must be disinfected” said by Souther's follower in Hokuto no Ken. He is the typical little cheese, so when someone says that phrase, s/he is necessarily an underdog villain.

^  This phrase is derived from a net slang The story ends in that way (to yuu ohanashi datta no sa, というお話だったのさ). This is used when an anonymus leaves an unwise comment or silly joke. The phrase pretends to treat it as in mother's warm arms and tell the unwelcome anonymus a story, but this phrase is a typical phrase for telling the end of old tale, and it reveals the fact that the one using the phrase wants to stop the course of such unfunny topic leading to some uninteresting end. So, this title of stage implies that Meiling is seen to be a cool strong heroine like an icon to be handed down for generations, but...
