About the Touhou Project

The Touhou Project (colloquially "Touhou") is a series of Japanese danmaku shooting games created by Team Shanghai Alice. They are similar to traditional shooting games however focus more upon careful weaving through complex patterns of bullets rather than dodging infrequent but faster projectiles with less-predictable trajectories . Every game in the Touhou series is set in the fantasy land of Gensokyo and the series is known for its huge cast of characters, well-developed story lines, and vast quantity of related materials such as music CDs and fan-made comics.

This is a wiki for material related to the Touhou game series. Everyone is welcome to read and contribute to it. Feel free to fix typos, add translations, rewrite articles, or anything else you please. Any mistakes you might make can be easily changed back.
