[edit]

狼男・オオカミ男
werewolf or wolf man. Actually the generic term for a werewolf, but due to Sakuya's scenario in Double Dealing Character, the male/female distinction had to be made. That particular instance is the only time the term "wolf man" is used. オオカミ男 is used in another instance in the same scenario, but is translated as "werewolf" as there is no confusion.
狼女
werewolf or wolf woman. While the real word for "werewolf" is 狼男, all Touhou characters are girls, so they just use the term 狼女. While technically the "were" in "werewolf" originates from the word "wereman" which was the generic term for "man" (as in, male), this is not an issue in Japanese.
お祓い棒
purification rod. Reimu uses this term to refer to her oonusa in Double Dealing Character. It's not the actual name, just a general description.
御札・お札
talisman. Reimu's main bullets.
大幣
oonusa. The official term for Reimu's weapon in Double Dealing Character. A gohei can also be called a "nusa", so an "oonusa" is a large gohei - which is exactly what the bomb is. Also the name of her shot type.

[edit]

幻想郷
Gensokyo.
御幣
gohei. Is also called a "nusa". Reimu's equipment of choice.

[edit]

スペルカード
spell card. "Spell card" is used in the games' spell card declaration animation and capture (as "Spell Card Attack!!" and "Get Spell Card Bonus!!" respectively), while "spellcard" has only been used in TD Spell Practice screens.

[edit]

東方旧作
Touhou old works. Used in the Japanese community to refer to the PC-98 era. Can be seen symonymously with the western equivalent "PC-98".

人魚

ミニ八卦炉
mini-hakkero. Marisa's main magical artifact weapon thing.
メイド長
