Unification of the Artful Rain
Originally a Touhou-style music album, this game is planned to have 6 stages, an Extra stage and a Phantasm Stage.
The gameplay of Unification of the Artful Rain revolves around the Rain Event system. Collecting droplet items fills a Flow Gauge, which can be triggered when full to summon a Rain Event, doubling the score value of items for a short amount of time and giving the player unique bonuses based on the character they are playing.
The game also features a chaining system, making fairies drop more powerful droplet items to fill the Flow Gauge faster as the player shoot down fairies in succession.
Early summer, the rainy season has started in Gensokyo. However, humans have started to experience heavy fatigue after staying under the rain for too long. What's more, the souls carried over the Sanzu River lacked the necessary energy to handle a ferriage to Higan. Even innocent souls would vanish under minutes before reaching the coast. With no choice but to investigate, the protagonists set out to find the culprit behind these energy-siphoning downpours.
Previously a Touhou-style album project, Unification of the Artful Rain features original music in the style of ZUN, composed by Aka Kyuketsuki.
