Stage 1

Mokou	おや、どうした？ 久しぶりだな	Oh, did something happen? I haven't seen you in a while.
Reimu	元気してた？	How are you doing?
	神秘！結界の巫女 博麗　霊夢	Arcane! Shrine Maiden of Barriers Reimu Hakurei
Mokou	あいにく身体は弱くてな 動くとすぐダメージを 負ってしまうんだ	Unfortunately, my body's pretty frail. Just moving causes damage to it.
Reimu	あっそ でもようやく見つけたわ まさかあんたがボールを 持ってたなんてね	Is that so? But I finally found you. I never thought you'd be holding a ball.
Mokou	またボールの話か まあいい 欲しければ奪ってみな	You're here about the balls too? Well, whatever. If you want it, try and take it.

Reimu	不老不死の癖に体弱いとか いっちゃって ちゃんちゃらおかしいね	Even though you're an immortal, you've gone frail and weak? That's quite absurd, you know.
	Reimu Hakurei DEFEATED
Mokou	またつまらぬボールを 手に入れてしまった ん？ このボールは…… 味わったことの無い オーラを持っているな	And I get another boring ball. Hmm? This ball is... It's got an aura I've never tasted before.
Reimu	そのボールは確か 黄泉比良坂のボールね	I think that one was the Yomotsu Hirasaka ball.

Stage 2

Marisa	お、珍しい奴がいるな どうした迷子か？	Oh, I don't see you around very often. What is it, a lost child?

Mokou	オカルトボールを 持っているか？	Do you have an Occult Ball?
Marisa	へー、お前がねぇ ボール欲しがるんだ	Ooh? You want the balls?
Mokou	みんなが集めたがってた 理由が判ったからな	It's because I finally figured out why everyone wants these balls.
Marisa	ボールは闘わないと 出てこない事は知ってるな？	The balls won't come out unless we fight. You know that, right?
Mokou	ああ勿論だ さっさと死ねい	Of course. Hurry up and die.

Marisa	こいつは都市伝説を使っている 様には見えないんだが	It didn't look like it but this one was using an urban legend.

Mokou	生れてこの方手加減が必要ない 生活してきたから	I've never needed to hold back since the day I was born. That's how I live.
Marisa	まあいい このボールはお前の物だ	Fine, the ball's yours.
Mokou	ふーむ これは外れだな	Hmm, this one's not it.
Marisa	何だよう それ	Huh? What's with that?
Mokou	全部があの世に関係する ボールって訳でも無いんだな	I guess not all of them are connected to the world beyond.

Stage 3

	ビジネスは相手を選ぶ	Businesses Choose Their Patrons

Nitori	なんだ？ ボールが欲しいのか？	What's that? You want the balls?
	太古！三畳紀の河童 河城　にとり	Ancient! The Triassic Kappa Nitori Kawashiro
Mokou	ああ 売っていると聞いてな	Yeah. I heard you've been selling them.
Nitori	よーし良いでしょう いくらなら出せます？	All right, sure thing. How much are you looking to pay?
Mokou	そうだな 出来るだけ安くして貰おう	Let's see... give me your cheapest.
Nitori	そんなご冗談を これは大層貴重品ですぜ	Stop joking around, these are extremely valuable.
Mokou	そう言えば河童は水が 涸れると苦しいんだよな 自ら手放したくなる様に 炙ってやるよ	Come to think of it, kappa suffer when they run out of water, right? How about I help you get rid of the balls yourself by drying you out?

Nitori	うあ、乱暴な客だ 塩撒いとけ！	Uwah, what a rude customer. Gotta throw some salt!
	Nitori Kawashiro DEFEATED
Nitori	アッチッチ お客さん困りますぜー そんな乱暴働いちゃあ	Ow ow ow. You're troubling me, customer. No need to be so violent.
Mokou	このボールも外れか 霊夢が持っていたのが 黄泉比良坂だったのは タマタマだったのか	This one's a dud too, huh? Was it just a coincidence that Reimu came around the Yomihirasaka ball?
Nitori	球 (ボール) だけに？	Just a round ball?
Mokou	タマだけに	Just a round ball.

Stage 4

	死にたがりの不死者	The Deathseeking Immortal
	BGM: 真実を知る者	BGM: Those Who Know the Truth
Mokou	勘違いしてたかも知れんな 思ったよりあの世のボールは 少ないみたいだ みんなが血眼になって 集めてたのはてっきり 全部集めれば死ねるからだと 思っていたが……	Maybe I misunderstood something. There are a lot less balls from the world beyond than I thought. Everyone's in such a frenzy to get ahold of them, that I was sure gathering them all would let you die...
	Kasen Ibaraki ENTERS
Mokou	誰だ？	Who are you?
Kasen	それはこっちの台詞よ	I should be asking you the same.
	思欲せよ！願いを叶える仙人 茨木 華扇	Covet! The Hermit Who Grants Wishes Kasen Ibaraki
Mokou	ああ見た事あるな 山の仙人か 私は竹林に住む人間だ	Oh... I've seen you before. The mountain hermit, right? I'm a human living in the bamboo forest.
Kasen	人間だって？ その割にあっさりとボールを 七つ集めちゃってるのね	A human? You managed to gather seven balls so easily though.
Mokou	集めるとどうなるんだ？	So what happens when they're gathered?
Kasen	集まっちゃったんなら 言うしかないか これを集めると所有者が 外の世界に飛ばされる 敵の居る場所が場所だけに 今のところ有効な手が 打ててないのが現状……	Since you've ended up with them, I suppose I have no choice but to tell you. Whoever gathers them is sent flying to the Outside World. That's where the enemy is, and because of her location we can't attack her, That's our current situation...

Mokou	外の世界だって？ そうなのか そりゃあ久々に面白いな	The Outside World, huh? I see... It's been a while, so it might be interesting.
	BGM: 華狭間のバトルフィールド	BGM: Battlefield of the Flower Threshold
Kasen	貴方みたいな人間が 外に出るのは危険です 残された時間はあと僅か 私が代わりに罠に 嵌まるから安心して！	A human like you would be only be endangered by going to the Outside World. There's not much time left. Don't worry, I'll fall into the trap in your place!
	If player loses
Kasen	どうにかして彼奴を 幻想郷に引きずり込まないと	If we don't pull that person to Gensokyou somehow, then...
	Kasen Ibaraki DEFEATED
Kasen	そう、随分とあっさり ボールを集めたと思ったけど 十分強いのね 人間の割に	I was wondering how you managed to gather the balls so easily. You're strong, for a human.
Mokou	永く生きすぎたからな	It's 'cause I've lived too long.
Kasen	それなら外の世界に行っても 大丈夫かもねぇ	Well, in that case you should be fine in the Outside World.
Mokou	久しぶりの娑婆だ 少し生きる気力が湧いてきたな	It's been a long time since I've seen Shaba. It makes me feel the will to live again. Just a bit.
Kasen	滞在時間は限られているけど 余り暴れないようにしてね	Your time there will be limited, but still, try not to go too wild.

Final Stage

	BGM: 外界フォークロア	BGM: Outside World Folklore
Mokou	ほへー 私の知っていた世界と違う…… これが外の世界だと？ 仕方が無いか あれから千年近くも 経ってるもんなぁ	Whoa... This isn't the world I knew. So this is the Outside World? Well, I guess I should've expected it. It's been nearly a thousand years since then.
	Sumireko Usami ENTERS
Sumireko	また釣れた釣れた 大量だー	I just keep catching them one after another. What a haul.

Mokou	しまった 外の人間に見られた 消すか？	Oops, I've been caught by an Outside human. Should I erase her?
Sumireko	おお怖 大分好戦的な奴が 釣れちゃった 本当にあった洒落にならない話 なんちて	Ooh, scary. I keep getting all these belligerent people. It's too terrible to be a joke.
Mokou	外の世界で暴れるなと 言われたけれど こういうぬるま湯に 浸かってそうな奴を見てたら イライラしてくるな	She told me not to go wild out here, but seeing someone so soaked in complacency just pisses me off.
Sumireko	ぬるま湯だなんて失礼ね 問題抱えまくる現代社会の 息詰まる学校生活 それらを経験してない 奴に何が判る	Complacency? How rude. I live the stifling life of a high school student in our problematic modern society. You've never lived my life, what do you know?

Mokou	こいつは十分強そうだし ちょっと遊んでやっても 良いんじゃないか？	She seems strong enough. It should be okay to play with her a little, right?

Sumireko	やっぱり幻想郷の奴は みんな好戦的ね そしてみんなして 相手を侮る 人類の叡智か 歪みが生んだ悪魔か どちらが優れているのか 試さないと気が済まないわ！	As I thought, everyone in Gensokyo just wants to fight. And they all look down on their opponents too. So which is gonna win: The wisdom of humanity, or a devil born of distortion? I won't be satisfied until I've tested this!
