You're that Releska right?

I don't think there are 2 Releskas but I figured I'd ask if you're the same Releska who does the lyric translation requests? Assuming you are, I'm the guy who asked you to translate all those song titles, I'm very grateful for your help so I figured I could offer to add the lyrics you translate to the wiki. Of course if you have a specific reason you don't want them added then I won't, but if the reason is simply because it's too time consuming for you then I don't mind taking the time as thanks for having accepted my requests. Hello! Yeah, I'm the same one. I made this account before I even considered translating stuff, which explains the different names. As a general rule, I'm okay with people reposting my translations, so if you'd like to, then go ahead! :) Releska, a.k.a. Biggest Dreamer (talk) 00:03, 5 June 2016 (UTC)

First pages are basically all good, just a couple minor mistakes

For your first pages they look really good, there are a couple of formatting things that I already went ahead a fixed (track # format is 01, 02, etc | some staff credits missing the lang template which is a VERY common mistake around here) and there were also 2 minor mistakes. The lyrics links were left blank and you forgot to inclose category:Shinra-bansho in [[double square brackets]].

Image uploads are weird on the wiki, you might have noticed that 2 of the 3 pictures you uploaded didn't have any licensing on the wiki despite you inputting it into the comment. This is due to those 2 images being uploaded through the Touhou Wiki Commons as apposed to though the English wiki, basically we share images with other language wikis so if you upload there your comments won't show up here. It's not a big deal really but I figured you should know, if you click "Upload file" under "Tools" in the left hand side bar that will upload though the commons, if you navigate to an image url that doesn't exist (example: https://en.touhouwiki.net/wiki/File:Doesn't_exist.jpg) you can upload it thought the English wiki.

One other thing to remember is to update the navbox at the bottom of album/circle pages when adding new albums (the little "e" in the far left side lets you edit them). Anyways, they pages are just fine so if you feel so inclined, edit on in confidence. If you have any questions about how to do certain things don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it. I'll be sure to keep that stuff in mind for next time! Biggest Dreamer (talk) 20:51, 14 March 2017 (UTC)

Using templates to save yourself from having to make almost 100 edits for a minor change to romanization

The way the Circle and MusicArticle templates are set up means that the en title entered is used as the category and navbox name, to change a romanization or translation actually means you have to change the input English title across all pages and files associated with the circle (basically moving everything into a new category page for the new name). This is exactly why I made a template for circle names, I've gone ahead and moved everything over to ShinRa-Bansho but if in future it needed to be changed again all you would have to do is change it in one place; ShinRa-Bansho's name template. It's most important function is to be used in place of the circle's English name (especially in template parameters like GroupCat), all it's other functions can be ignored while still allowing for easy change of the circle's romanization/translation across multiple pages at once. Hope that helps. Ycdtosa (talk) 03:20, 19 October 2017 (UTC)

Thanks - that makes sense! That's a really handy feature to have. I'll make sure to keep it in mind if more alterations are needed in the future. Biggest Dreamer (talk) 05:54, 19 October 2017 (UTC)
