Tenshi details[edit]

Hey Jigglyppuff8, if you mean could those pictures be used on the Spell Cards page, then absolutely, go for it. Those pictures belong to Touhou wikia now. Btw, thanks for all your hard work with the music articles here. TheTrueBlue 05:35, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Oh and the pics are from this Japanese Tenshi wiki http://wikiwiki.jp/tenshi/?%A5%B9%A5%DA%A5%EB%A5%AB%A1%BC%A5%C9 , it has all the other spell card pictures as well. I'm using them for the Sword of Hisou and Keystone pages but they can be used anywhere and everywhere of course. TheTrueBlue 05:37, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Music[edit]

I've noticed that you're quite a connoisseur of Touhou music and I've recently happened upon いつも心に「東方萃夢想」 by koutaq http://www.nicomimi.net/play/nm3864665#, do you know what the genre of these remixes is? More would be awesome. It seems every other Touhou Album out there is hard pulsating club beat remixes. TheTrueBlue 18:52, September 24, 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the reply on my talk page. Could a link to this music thread be posted? Thank you. TheTrueBlue 05:47, September 25, 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for taking the time to find a recommendation for me, is there some place or some way to access that music? I only found a link to a sample track on the URL. TheTrueBlue 05:27, September 30, 2009 (UTC)
Wow, did you find this in that music thread? I suppose that must be quite the resource for newer Touhou music for English-speakers. Thank you very much for the file, some of those tracks were fascinating. Here is the track that koutaq that really shined for me:
http://rapidshare.com/files/287150668/____________________________________.mp3.html
Yes it has that many underscores, probably because of the Japanese characters, the name is いつも心に「東方萃夢想」 or "In the Usual Spirit(Touhou Suimusou 7.5)", it's just gorgeous and the vibraphone/electric/ocarina/flute melody is just enchanting. TheTrueBlue 01:37, October 1, 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for the heads-up on that album info, I have gigs and gigs of Touhou music, but digging through it all to find the ones with great melodies is a mountain-ful d(゚Д゚;=;゚Д゚)b TheTrueBlue 22:40, October 21, 2009 (UTC)

Pic request[edit]

Where did you get the full body shots of some of the Touhou characters? They're great!

That wasn't me. That was Takoto. I just categorized them. jpp8 19:12, October 22, 2009 (UTC)

TL request[edit]

If possible, can you translate the three tracks 2,7, and 9 please? Reincarnation_(Silver_Forest) —Preceding unsigned comment added by MaronaPossessed (talkcontribs) 22:26, November 20, 2009

I kyanot speaku za Japonesu. It even says on my page: "Has 0 translating skills other than Google translate and what he finds on other sites like VGMdb." !8RstuPID2Y 23:21, November 20, 2009 (UTC)

Oh sorry:(

Congrats/Thank You/Etc.[edit]

You turned 16? Happy Birthday! TheTrueBlue 23:19, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for pulling cleanup duty on my spellcard graphic uploads; it totally slipped my mind that I needed to categorize them on the first set. --Prime V2 06:10, October 17, 2009 (UTC)

Each time I visit here I always see on the side that you edit something. You must be a hard worker so I figured I pop in and come give you a thank you:) MaronaPossessed 22:43, December 10, 2009 (UTC)

So that's what it means...I see. Thanks :) MaronaPossessed 02:16, December 13, 2009 (UTC)

Hey there, thanks for fixing the 紅乃幻奏 page, didn't take a closer look at the title of the CD in that category and thought it was the one I was adding since it's the only one by that circle I own. I'll be more thorough when adding the next few CDs ~ Petit89 15:25, February 15, 2010 (GMT+1)

No problem. I just appreciative that there are other people to help with this backlog. !8RstuPId2Y 15:07, February 15, 2010 (UTC)

For the Kotohime page: That looks great. Thank you! I'll go do it with Yumemi and do the PoDD characters like that in the future^^ MaronaPossessed 23:50, May 12, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for the titles on the Catharsis page.--ImperialLeon 16:36, July 17, 2010 (UTC)

South Heaven discography[edit]

Thanks for you help to complete all the details. imperiomoe

No, thank you for getting me motivated to finish this. !8RstuPId2Y 04:48, February 24, 2010 (UTC)

ROCKGIRL 東方岩少女 Arrange Soundtrack[edit]

Thanks for the help with cleaning up the article. I'm having trouble pinpointing the originals for the first 3 tracks though. Blaze0041 03:32, December 21, 2009 (UTC)

You're welcome. Unfortunately, I can't find a source to verify what they are 100% either. May as well play it by ear. !8RstuPId2Y 03:42, December 21, 2009 (UTC)

Edit original source[edit]

Hi,

I wanna ask something about editing the original source for arranged touhou musics. Won't it be better to make the link to the music page of the game (e.g. Imperishable Night: Music) than to the game (e.g. Imperishable Night)? Since I had been going back and forth to read information about the song (to the game then to music), I think it's kind of troublesome. What do you think?

Rantuyetmai 17:06, January 18, 2010 (UTC)rantuyetmai

I'm not going to BS. I just think that putting "{{Game abbreviation}}" in the source field just makes making these pages a whole lot easier. I have nothing else to refute your proposition. !8RstuPId2Y 17:30, January 18, 2010 (UTC)

About Hisouten fun facts[edit]

Are you sure you didn't hear a door bell? Well, if you say so... --Facteur Rien 02:09, January 31, 2010 (UTC)

Official/Unofficial[edit]

Tokiko is an acknowledge fanname by the japanese community and not official. Rengeteki was acknowledge by the japanese community and not official, yet changed back to Nameless Midboss Fairy...so why is that? MaronaPossessed 00:49, March 1, 2010 (UTC)

I didn't want people to get yelled at, so I just went with the safe option. I'm honestly not entirely sure what to do in this whole named/nameless situation. ;; !8RstuPId2Y 01:01, March 1, 2010 (UTC)

Gimme a <BR>[edit]

Is there any actual difference between a <br> and a <br/>?--Apcog 08:23, March 15, 2010 (UTC)

From what I just quickly Googled like 8 seconds ago, <br> works with html while <br /> works with xhtml. It has an x in front of it, so it has to be fancier somehow! That's all I got out of it. I don't understand it too much, but that's how I saw some of the other editors fixing things here that way, so I figured I do the same. !8RstuPId2Y 20:14, March 15, 2010 (UTC)
Well, until/unless someone points out a substantial difference, I'll stick with the <br> version, then.--Apcog 20:33, March 15, 2010 (UTC)
It doesn't matter either way, since Mediawiki just converts them all to <br /> anyway. —Nereid talk 00:15, March 16, 2010 (UTC)
Does it? I hadn't noticed it doing so before now...--Apcog 03:34, March 16, 2010 (UTC)
I guess it's more like a template where you just put {{Template Name}}, and the template shows up in the article, but it doesn't replace the {{Template Name}} in the original text. !8RstuPId2Y 03:38, March 16, 2010 (UTC)
Since I still don't know the practical difference between <br> versus <br/>, I'm not sure how one could tell.--Apcog 03:45, March 16, 2010 (UTC)
One is valid XHTML; the other is not. (And Wikia uses XHTML.) In practice users don't see a difference. —Nereid talk 03:57, March 16, 2010 (UTC)

Iku's abilities addition denied?[edit]

Granted the fact it's not officially written from her in game profiles, are you SURE we can't add that in her abilities that she can generate and manipulate lightning? I mean it practically is canon due to the gameplay with her and I just thought why not put it in? --DarkJokerOfAmuro 19:00, March 24, 2010 (UTC)

I'm not sure. All I'm doing is trusting the judgment of the editor who removed it before with the comment "not an official ability". !8RstuPId2Y 02:15, March 25, 2010 (UTC)
I dont know, I mean I just really think that it should be added considering the fact it is official...just not stated *sighs* but ok if you guys insist. --DarkJokerOfAmuro 20:27, March 25, 2010 (UTC)
ZUN has a strange conception of how powers and spirits works in his dreamland. For al that we know, in the ZUNiverse lightning may just be another category of atmosphere. So officially stated powers only, keeps it cleaner and with no room for contradictions from the community. --Umhyuk 00:51, March 26, 2010 (UTC)

Hatatesoku[edit]

I want you to take a look at the seventh palette. The dress and shirt match those of Hatate's, sans the plaid pattern. The fan stays the original color of yellow, which also happens to match her cell phone. The tokin hat is blue, although Hatate's is purple. The only immediately noticable difference between Hatate and this palette is the hair color. --PeejsterM 02:21, March 31, 2010 (UTC)

What's up with everyone and these witty titles? Why can't I come up with witty titles? ._.
Anyway, I could argue the same for Cirno and one of her palettes. Go to her white one. It's Mai only without the hair or the same color bow. It's all too subjective really. It's obviously a reference for all the other Hisoutensoku palette fun facts. This... not so much. !8RstuPId2Y 02:33, March 31, 2010 (UTC)

燃えろ!東方ブラスバンド[edit]

I don't know what happened, but I tried using the new MusicArticle format, and this happened. Could you help me fix it? Thanks. Blaze0041 04:51, May 10, 2010 (UTC)

Cause was an unclosed template on 少女さとり ~ 3rd eye ({{lang|ja|少女さとり ~} 3rd eye). This happened a lot when I started using it too. Also, titlejp already has an automatic {{lang|ja tag, so the only lang template needed there is {{lang|en for titles with both Japanese and English. !8RstuPId2Y 19:08, May 10, 2010 (UTC)

Sanae Changes[edit]

When I obtained my copy of Aqua+Yui, it turned out Sanae didn't have Wish; she had Refresh as a move. ILyn 13:56, May 21, 2010 (UTC)

To be honest, I have very little knowledge of comprehensive Touhoumon. All I know is that this wiki is going by the Japanese version and that the EFA Wiki (pretty sure it's Aqua+Yui/not the official Japanese) lists Sanae knowing Refresh. Not sure what you're asking from me here. !8RstuPId2Y 19:12, May 21, 2010 (UTC)

I changed Sanae's move to Refresh, and you changed it back to Wish. ILyn 06:30, May 26, 2010 (UTC)

anon response[edit]

Alright I understand. Even if I've contributed some and been here a while, I don't know everything. So thanks for the heads up:) MaronaPossessed 03:19, May 26, 2010 (UTC)

not important but sorry[edit]

Gah! Sorry...just that when I read it and remember it, I think of one p...cuz you know...pokemon >_>; MaronaPossessed 20:31, May 31, 2010 (UTC)

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![edit]

Ack! If what you said is true, then I had better hope that it's copyright friendly, otherwise I gotta backtrack!

If I advance further in the game, I'll begin posting the maps myself if that is the case!

Nazeo 20:31, June 30, 2010 (UTC)

Uh. I'm the one who said that. Not Jigglyppuff8; he just added the bit about categorizing images you upload. Also, you don't need to cross post messages onto another talk page, it's perfectly fine to reply on your own talk page. -- Qazmlpok 00:58, July 1, 2010 (UTC)

RE: Confusing Template[edit]

Well what I don't understand, is how am I suppose to insert images? It says just to type the image name, but it only the words touhou_faithful_star.jpg show up. Could you explain how to do that, then I should be able to use it.

(Also, where should I insert the extra info, like the arranger and designer and stuff?) Haruhi57 02:17, July 12, 2010 (UTC)

About Touhoumon[edit]

The Advent Marisa for Touhoumon is a thunder stone not a sun stone, to prove that, i used a thunderstone on her and made her into Advent Marisa. :\

In what patch? The official Japanese or one of the English patches?
Official Japanese has Sun Stone. Aqua/Yui has Thunder Stone. This wiki goes by the official Japanese. !8RstuPId2Y 03:55, July 16, 2010 (UTC)

Go with the Japanese ver.

Randomness is my game.... Wanna play? 06:05, July 21, 2010 (UTC)

Um, would you settle for users?

Randomness is my game.... Wanna play? 18:59, August 1, 2010 (UTC)

Take it easy![edit]

Each time I come here, I always see an edit from you. Hope you're not pushing yourself O_O MaronaPossessed 02:31, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

Don't worry about me, I'm not pushing myself at all! Thanks for caring!8RstuPId2Y Talk Contribs 04:12, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

MusicArticle tracklist[edit]

What the point of putting first tracklist entry on the same line as |tracklist= itself? Newlines don't matter here, but impact on readability of the code. WGH x 11:48, August 4, 2010 (UTC)

When one of the users who made the template used it, that's how I noticed they did it, so I followed suit. There's not really any point to it. It's just a preference and editing habit I picked up. !8RstuPId2Y Talk Contribs 17:10, August 4, 2010 (UTC)

Portraits[edit]

I'd like to, but there is an issue. Jpeg does not support transparency. However, if this is crucial, I might do a workaround by filling images with background color. Yuujin 12:46, August 7, 2010 (UTC)

Oh right! I forgot about that. My bad. Carry on with your business then. !8RstuPId2Y Talk Contribs 13:12, August 7, 2010 (UTC)

Damn[edit]

All of the touhou games full versions are paid?
